Your entire photo album project will be taken care of as if it were my own and you can trust I will manage all the details for you once we’ve determined your priorities. We’ll make sure your best memories don’t get lost in all the photos on your phone.
Your layouts are customized. I believe your photos should dictate the layout, rather than DIY software where the layout provided dictates where you can position your photo.
I use a variety of sophisticated software which allows me to design your album, allow easy uploading of your photos, communicate seamlessly, share proofs of your album layouts and provide a digital version of your album you can also share and download.
What is the creation process, from start to finish? How long does it take?
The creation process includes an interview to determine your individual desires and expectations, photo selection from your curated photos, decisions on which significant photos are to be highlighted and then the layout begins. A proof will be sent, usually 10 to 14 days after your photo selection is complete. You’ll have the opportunity to request edits or approve your layout after reviewing the proof. Once you’ve approved your album, finishing touches are finalized, your album will go into production. Your anticipation time will be between 2 to 3 weeks. (Please note: Covid-19 may affect your delivery time.)
How can I be sure the album story reflects my memories and vision?
We’ll begin with an interview where you’ll share your overall expectations for your project. After you’ve uploaded your photos, I’ll review and we’ll have another conversation to ensure specific photos are highlighted and address any special requests you might have.
I’ll create a layout for you to review, you’ll then request edits or approve the original layout. I welcome your input and feedback.
We’ll liaise at every step and I’m available should you ever need to reach out.
Can I order an album as a gift, and do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, I love to create albums as gifts. The recipients are always overjoyed. Gift Certificates are available if you would like to present a hard copy PDF.
What types of albums do you specialize in?
I create photo albums where the photos tell the story. My specialty lies in letting the photos shine using limited or no text. If you feel you’ll need to create an album which is better represented with text and descriptions, let’s chat. I have creative options we can explore. Please ask if you’d like to know more.
What if my album is damaged in a circumstance outside of my control?
I understand the irreplaceable significance of your photo memories. Unfortunately, natural disasters wreak havoc far too often and are beyond our control. If you lose your album in a situation like a fire, flood, hurricane, tornado or earthquake, please reach out. I host a backup of each of my clients’ albums in my Archives and you can replace your albums at any time, even years later. (Replacement albums are offered at 50% of your original album’s cost.)
